Challenge

An 81-year-old woman living alone in Shilin, whose adult children were splitting their time between supporting her and managing full-time work. She was largely independent but had started forgetting medications and skipping meals when tired.

Our Approach

We arranged two drop-in visits per week, timed around her most difficult periods of the day. The aide assisted with meals, confirmed medication, and provided company during a part of the day she found long.

Result

Within six weeks, her family reported noticeably less anxiety and more reliable daily routines. The client, initially hesitant, requested the same caregiver by name within the first month.

Challenge

A family with both parents ageing at home β€” father with reduced mobility following surgery, mother largely well but under strain from providing care on her own. Their son lived abroad and felt completely disconnected from what was happening day to day.

Our Approach

We placed an aide on the Health Tracking service to visit three times per week, documenting the father's recovery indicators and reporting to the son weekly. The aide also provided the mother with practical assistance and respite.

Result

The son described feeling "back in the picture" within a month. The mother's stress reduced noticeably, and the family used the weekly reports to have more informed conversations with the father's rehabilitation team.
