Our Story

A company built around the people we serve

Softveil was founded in Taipei with one clear belief: that growing older at home, surrounded by the familiar, is something every person deserves to experience with grace and support.

Who We Are

Founded on a family's experience

Softveil grew from a personal place. Our founder, after navigating the challenge of finding reliable home care for an ageing parent in Taipei, recognized how stressful and uncertain that process can be for families. The goal was to create something different — an approach to home care that feels personal, honest, and genuinely supportive rather than transactional.

We opened our doors in Neihu District in 2018. Since then, we've supported families across Taipei, building a team of thoughtful caregivers and developing services designed around how seniors actually want to live — in their homes, on their terms.

Today, Softveil continues as a small but deeply committed team. We don't aim to be the largest home care provider in Taiwan. We aim to be the one that families remember with gratitude.

Our Mission

To make it genuinely easier for families to provide a safe, warm, and supported home environment for the seniors they care about.

Our Vision

A Taipei where no family has to feel alone in caring for an elderly loved one — where professional support is accessible, trustworthy, and genuinely kind.

Our Values

Respect, consistency, and honest communication. We do what we say, stay transparent with families, and treat every senior as an individual with their own history and preferences.

How We Work

Standards we hold ourselves to

Families place significant trust in us. These are the practices we maintain to honour that trust.

Background Verified Staff

Every caregiver completes a thorough background check before joining our team. References are verified, and qualifications are confirmed directly.

Structured Onboarding

All caregivers undergo structured orientation covering elder communication, safety protocols, hygiene practices, and our family-reporting standards.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Client information and household details are handled with strict confidentiality. Our team is regularly reminded of their obligations in this area.

Documented Care Plans

Every client has a written care plan outlining their needs, preferences, and health considerations. Plans are reviewed and updated at regular intervals.

Open Family Communication

Families are kept informed through regular reports and have a direct point of contact for questions or concerns at any time during business hours.

Continuous Improvement

We gather feedback from families at every stage and use it to improve how we train, match, and support our caregivers and clients.

Home care in Taipei built on trust and consistency

Softveil operates in Neihu District, Taipei, with a focus on in-home elderly assistance that respects each senior's independence and individuality. Our work spans personal care, health observation, household support, and companionship — adapted to each household rather than following a fixed script.

Families in Taiwan often navigate eldercare decisions while managing busy work schedules and their own family responsibilities. Our role is to reduce that load — providing well-matched, professional care that families can rely on without constantly monitoring or adjusting. Familiarity between caregiver and client is something we actively cultivate over time.
